4-Day Chimpanzee Trekking, City Tour, Karera Waterfalls & Gishora Drums in Burundi

Transfer from the Airport to the hotel: Depending on your arrival time, our experienced guide will pick you at Bujumbura International Airport and transfer you to the hotel, check you in, and have dinner. Our guide will brief you about the entire trip, dos and don’ts, and make sure your comfortable with us. Accomodation:Hotel Botaka or similar

City tour in Bujumbura: You’ll wake up and have breakfast at 7:30 am, and go back to your room, have a morning toilet, and check out at your own expense for the first day. Make sure you don’t forget anything in your room. Your guide will pick you up at 8:30 am and continue a journey to Rusizi National Park, one of the interesting parks in the city of Bujumbura, where you will have a boat cruise. If you’re lucky, you will see hippos, crocodiles, and some bird species. Later, you’ll proceed to living stone Monument. Then, you’ll have lunch. Afterward, you’ll proceed to the Catholic Church, the first church to be constructed in Burundi, and learn more about it. Later, you’ll drive for 3 hours to the southern part of Bujumbura to track the chimpanzee check-in to the Hotel. You’ll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee tracking:

You’ll wake up very early at 5:30am and start your journey to Bururi Forest National Park to track chimpanzee with our guarded rangers who will help you to track chimpanzee for 3 hours. Later, you’ll come back to the hotel, have breakfast, and check out at the hotel. Later, you’ll proceed to the source of the Nile and the Pyramid for more interesting history. Later, you’ll continue your journey to Karera Falls and see the amazing falls. You’ll proceed to Gitega, the Political capital of Burundi, and spend a night at the Hotel. Back to the airport You’ll wake up in the morning, have breakfast, check out, and proceed to Gishora drum for the culture dance experience. Later, we transfer you to Bujumbura Airport, or if you have more days in Bujumbura, let us know, and we organise another tour around Burundi. We have a lot to see.
